Ping-Pong Fracture

 

 

  • Occurs in infants and small children

    • Bones of skull must be relatively “soft,” thin and resilient

    • Depressed skull fracture in which no fracture line is seen

      • In children under the age of 2, the sutures should be less than 3 mm

      • Over the age of three the sutures should be less than 2 mm
