	n Local pain, erythema, swelling n Usually resolve with local therapy n Rarely, significant tissue necrosis and skin- sloughing occur (even with small amounts) n When severe, may lead to compartment syndrome n Severe edema, loss of pulses, necrosis n More common with injection in hand or foot
